Formatting for ebook, paperback, and hardcover novels.

Have an artistic eye format your manuscript, ready for publication!

How do we Begin?

Formatting is the final step so make sure your manuscript is professionally edited and polished.

Consider what features you need and want as some Page Types/Features may require the Deluxe Formatting Package on top of the Standard.

When preparing your manuscript for formatting, consider the following:

  • Page Breaks between Chapters and Page Types.

  • Single Enter between a simple break.

  • *** for ornamental breaks.

  • If an image needs placement, type /image (filename)/ before where it needs to be with note on size and placement.

  • If a text feature needs placement, type /text feature/ before where it needs to be and a note as to what you want to see.

  • Save it as a .docx file.

  • Consider which Print size you want.
    Popular Trim Sizes:
    5 × 8 in, 5.25 × 8 in, 5.5 × 8.5 in, 6 × 9 in

Please console with your printing house to know what they offer.

  • Once you have everything together, email: theartofliz@gmail.com

I may have questions and suggestions as I work on your file, so it is optimal that you are available to message when I work.
Once it is finished, we will go over the document together in a video call for you to pick style and make sure it is to your liking, or you can put your trust in me and use my creative freedom.

Asunder

by L. Steinworth

Mayli's world shattered when her mother, the queen of Ammos, was assassinated. The heir to the throne of Brimley—Mayli's fiancé at the time—was accused of the crime. The resulting war between the two kingdoms destroyed Brimley and refugees fled across Vatan. Now the grieving princess travels to court a new royal suitor, but her plans to secure a strong alliance go awry when her carriage is attacked.

Alden, a Brimleyn loyalist, goes undercover in the Shadowen Thieves Guild hoping to find evidence that will clear his prince’s name. His efforts prove futile until their latest assignment: abducting the Ammosian princess. Completing the job could expose her mother's murderer, but at what cost?

Burden

by L. Steinworth

Alden is more determined than ever to unmask the Ammosian queen’s killer after leaving the Shadowen Thieves Guild and saving Princess Mayli. Trusting his friends to aid in the investigation in Dregs, he returns to Brimley to uncover clues at the scene of the crime. The weight of responsibility falls heavily on his shoulders as he must choose to expose the murderer or stay loyal to his kingdom.

Princess Mayli searches for truth after her enemies helped return her safely to Ammos. Faced with incriminating evidence to solve her mother’s murder, Mayli must decide if keeping her family’s secrets is worth destroying an innocent man’s life and if she can ever forgive the one truly responsible. Torn asunder by circumstance and struggling with divided loyalties, will Mayli and Alden ever find their way back to each other again?

Remember the Stars

by Eris Marriott

In a world of forbidden magic, two wolves fight for a lost soul. All Clarisse wants is to be free. Her life has been governed by abuse, control, and the Church of Light. Tired of ritual exorcisms and condemnations, she’s at the brink of exploding. Her power is a curse—the reason she can’t be free. Clarisse never asked to be in the center of a centuries-long battle between Terrence, a Reaper-wolf gone rogue, and Death, himself. If she has to spend one more minute under the controlling thumb of her parents and the Church of Light, she’ll die. In order to escape, she must choose a side: Death is convinced that mortals wielding power is a recipe for disaster and damnation. Terrence believes magic is a mortal’s key to freedom, enlightenment… maybe immortality. Will she follow the light of the stars? Or will she let herself fall into the grasp of the shadows?
